First of all I am the Practice Manager, not a patient. I want to welcome all new Medicare Patients to our practice. As of September 15 2023 Starleen Schaffer, MD said goodbye to the old way of having a medical practice. There are 2 main reasons for this, 1. She refuses to ask insurers permission for patient testing, and 2. Too many patients to treat was leading to typical patients just being a number. Our solution, cut down from 3000 patients to 275, and see the patients in their own environment, their home. 9 months into her new home visit practice and Starleen is much more satisfied in her work life balance, but most of all in the patients much improved satisfaction with their care and needs. We have been told, sounds like a concierge practice, oh it is, without any contracts, subscriptions, annual or monthly fees. All covered by Medicare, just like traditional office visits.

Ann Marie and Dr. Schaffer are the Best! You will absolutely Love them. They are kind and personable. They really care about their patients. Easy to talk to and they listen to you. The past couple of years I’ve needed to go to different Specialists and they let me me go at my pace not theirs and I really do appreciate that. I am very happy with my Dr. She always greets me with a smile and is a tremendous help with keeping my sinuses in check. She goes above and beyond in her care for her patients. I also am grateful to her staff because o always forget when my appointments are and they always call to remind me of my appointment. I usually hear from her office manager to make sure I can make my appointment and if I can't she will do her very best to get me in for a visit sooner or when it's more convenient for me. Recently moved to Vero Beach and this office was recommended. I've been seen by Nurse Practitioner Michelle Williams and I feel like I'm in better hands than ever! She ordered the right tests and changed my meds to put me on a path to being healthy again. My former Dr. was on cruise control, but now I'm so glad to feel like I'm receiving excellent care from someone who is actively looking out for me! This is how healthcare is supposed to work.
