Customer service and styling was great. I had services done at this salon a couple years when I still lived in DC. I recently moved back and booked where I was familiar since I’m particular about my hair. The new location is beautiful! The receptionist and assistants made me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the wash and blow dry process. Constantly checking in to make sure I felt okay and offering me drinks. I got my hair done by Chyna who I have been to before and left with no complaints. I will definitely be back!

Way too expensive for the terrible customer service I’ve received. Booked a consultation for a curly sew in and was told stylist was comfortable with my hair texture. When I went in for maintenance and styling (a blowout) the hair was frizzy and curls fell out within 20 mins of leaving the salon. Not to mention i was there for almost 6 hours, was passed around between 3 different people before I got to the stylist I booked with, and was sitting around waiting well after my hair was dried. When I called to ask for it to be fixed, I was argued with and told the stylist “had a feeling the curls wouldn’t hold” while she was doing my hair. When I asked why they let me leave the salon knowing my hair wouldn’t hold, I was argued with some more. I didn’t receive any apology and they tried to say it was my fault the hair was frizzy and curls fell out. I finally was followed up with days later and they told me they would get me in with the owner to have the hair fixed. When I got there, no one mentioned the previous appointment or apologized for it AND they charged me full price for the service when they were supposed to be fixing what they messed up in the first place! I went back to get the sew in removed and they refused to shampoo my hair and said it has to be added on as an addition when booking. When I asked if I could still get my hair shampooed and just add it on now, they said no they can’t shampoo my hair because I didn’t add a shampoo when I booked.

Basically this salon is charging luxury prices but the results and experience are no where near luxury. Customer service is terrible and they’ll take no ownership of their mistakes. I’d save your money.

This is the best salon I have EVER been to. After staying away from professional salons for YEARS due to poor quality and overpricing, I took a chance on Studio Chique & I’m so glad I did. I came in the same day for a wash, blow dry, and trim and walked out loving my hair. All of the ladies in the salon were so nice, and my stylist Sabrina was friendly, knowledgeable, and took great care of my hair. Overall, the salon was clean and the staff were the sweetest. They offer a variety of services as well, not just hair care. I will definitely be back!
